Pursuant to Section 601AA(2), the Commission may deregister a defunct company as long as the following conditions are met:

All members agree to the deregistration;
The company is not carrying on business;
The company's assets are worth less than $1,000;
The company has paid all fees and penalties payable under the Law; and
The company is not a party to any legal proceedings.

ACN DIRECT can fully coordinate the deregistration process, including:

Preparation, lodgment, and payment of ASIC Application Form 6010;
Statement by Member(s);
Minutes of Meeting of Director(s); and
Immediate notification of ASIC preliminary and final approvals.

The entire deregistration process can take approximately 3 to 5 months, including a 2 month advertising period in the Government Gazette. ACN DIRECT will liaise with the ASIC Deregistration Unit throughout this process, and notify you accordingly.
